A minimum of 1-2 years experience in medical assisting - Cardiology experience ideal. Experience working in an EMR system - preferably Athena. Medical Assistant certificate a plus. Reference's required. Background check will be performed.
Job duties include:
- Checking vital signs, performing EKG's, Treadmills and venipuncture.
- Collecting and documenting medical, social histories and current medications into Athena/EMR.
- Refiling prescriptions, which would include obtaining pre-authorization.
- Preparing a complete chart.
Ability to travel to another DC location and two Maryland locations.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
