Ophthalmic Technician/Receptionist Position

EyeDoc Sunshine is an optometric office located inside Costco South Loop. We provide comprehensive eye care in a convenient and accessible location. Our clinic offers a wide range of services including comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fitting, red eye visits and co-management of refractive surgeries.
We are looking for an ophthalmic tech/receptionist to join our practice.
The ideal candidate at EyeDoc Sunshine is a person who is hardworking, smart, personable and team driven.
Role includes:
● Navigating patient from start to finish, including greeting, check-in, confirming insurance eligibility, pre-testing and hand off to Costco Optical staff with positive patient experience.
● Engaging with doctor to communicate on business needs.
● Managing patient schedule and walk-ins.
● Maintaining patient records while following HIPAA regulations.
● Maintain office cleanliness.
● Eligibility and verification of insurance benefits.
● Ensuring excellent customer service with exceptional reviews.
Qualifications:
● HS Diploma or GED.
● Customer service experience.
● Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $23.50 per hour
