Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items following safety and quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction
- Operate POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining spaces, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and adhering to food safety protocols
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required — we welcome motivated learners!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to follow food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations
- Experience working in a café, grocery store, or restaurant setting is advantageous but not mandatory
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings in a fast-paced environment
