Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by cleaning surfaces, utensils, appliances, and workstations regularly
- Support meal preparation for various service needs including catering events or daily service lines
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Adhere to safety standards during food production to prevent accidents or contamination
Skills
- Experience working in and understanding food allergies is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in production environments
- Proven ability in food preparation, cooking techniques, and operating commercial kitchen equipment
- Skilled in knife handling with precise slicing techniques and recipe adherence
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment
- Familiarity with menu planning, meal prep processes, and catering operations
- Knowledge of the food industry standards related to food safety management and sanitation practices
- Must be able to work weekends
