Bass Protection Services is currently hiring Unarmed Security Officers for a Sam's Club located at 215 Piedmont Pl, Danville, VA 24541 . We are seeking reliable, professional, and motivated officers who are ready to start immediately.
Position Overview
Officers will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Duties include monitoring entrances, patrolling designated areas, and providing a visible security presence. Officers will rotate post assignments during shifts to ensure full coverage and visibility. Please understand this is a standing position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct a wanding of employees entering the premises
- Monitor and control access at designated doors
- Act as a visible deterrent to trespassing and unauthorized activity
- Identify and professionally approach unauthorized individuals
- Issue clear verbal warnings from a safe distance
- Contact local law enforcement when necessary
- Observe, document, and report suspicious, unsafe, or unlawful activity
- Help prevent loitering, theft, disturbances, vandalism, or violence
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Shift Details
- Shift times may vary
- Monday - Thursday 9:00PM - 6:00AM
Pay
- Weekly pay ( In form of 1099)
- Competitive hourly rates
Uniform Requirements
- Police-style uniform identifying Bass Protection Services
- Name tag must be worn at all times
- Uniform must be clean, professional, and properly fitted
- Must comply with all DC regulations
Clock-In System
- It will be a form of a sign off sheet and guard must give Manager to sign before leaving the site
Requirements
- Valid Security Officer License
- Must be 18 years or older
- Reliable transportation is REQUIRED
- Dependable, punctual, and professional appearance
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
