Position Summary
The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all residential and commercial service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, customer service, technician management, estimating, project coordination, quality control, safety, and profitability. This position serves as the primary liaison between customers, field technicians, suppliers, and management to ensure service work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of commercial and residential glazing systems, storefronts, glass replacement, doors, hardware, and excellent customer service abilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operations Management
- Manage all daily service operations for residential and commercial customers.
- Schedule and dispatch service technicians for maximum efficiency.
- Prioritize emergency service calls.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor technician productivity and workload.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Customer Service
- Serve as the primary contact for service customers.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Build long-term customer relationships.
- Maintain excellent communication throughout each project.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction scores.
Estimating & Sales
- Prepare estimates for:
- Glass replacement
- Storefront repairs
- Door repairs
- Hardware replacement
- Window replacement
- Emergency board-up services
- Commercial service work
- Recommend additional products or upgrades when appropriate.
- Invoice service jobs
Pay: $50,794.22 - $67,193.05 per year
