Infant Assistant Teacher - Up to $18.00, commensurate with related education and/or experience, PLUS 50% childcare discount!
Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for children
- Foster social and emotional growth through positive reinforcement and guidance
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Requirements:
- Minimum one year previous experience working with infants in a childcare setting is required.
- CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with infants
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Understanding of child welfare guidelines and ability to ensure the safety of all children in the classroom
