We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Communications and Reception Agent to serve as the welcoming face and voice of our organization. This dynamic role combines front desk responsibilities with strategic communication tasks, ensuring seamless interactions with visitors, callers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will excel in managing media relations, crafting compelling press releases, and maintaining clear, engaging communication across multiple channels. Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and callers warmly, providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing front desk operations
- Answer incoming phone calls, direct inquiries appropriately, and handle messages with professionalism and clarity
- Draft, proofread, and distribute media advisories, and internal communications
- Manage social media accounts by creating engaging content, monitoring interactions, and analyzing engagement metrics
- Managing Club calendar for all Club related activities
- Post weekly Club communications, flyers and save the dates for all upcoming events
- Conduct research on relevant topics to support public relations campaigns and marketing initiatives
- Proofread all outgoing communications to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to organizational standards
- Assist in organizing events or that promote membership initiatives or community engagement efforts
Requirements
- Proven experience in public relations, or communications roles with strong writing skills
- Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal—with a confident presence for phone communications.
- Familiarity with AP style for professional writing and editing tasks
- Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging digital content
- Strong research skills to gather accurate information for media materials or organizational messaging
- Ability to proofread meticulously to ensure error-free communications
- Knowledge of Canva and other platforms to send communications and flyers
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
