Position Summary: Manage Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) wireless network, internet connectivity and telecommunications systems. Ensure that all systems are properly installed, integrated, secured and maintained and kept current through regular upgrades and equipment replacement. Provide the technical expertise necessary to support network services, telecommunications, servers, cloud services and related applications.
Qualifications:
1. An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Strong knowledge of network technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, wireless networking, VPNs, firewalls, Windows, macOS, Linux and mobile devices.
3. Knowledge and experience in the management of LANs, WANs, wireless networks, internet services, servers, cloud services, virtualization and telecommunications systems. Relevant technical certifications are preferred.
4. Knowledge of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), telephone systems, and emergency communications.
5. A minimum of four years of experience supporting and integrating computers, servers, network equipment, wireless devices, and related systems in a networked environment.
Work Year: Twelve-months, 35 hours per week excluding one-hour lunch
