Staff Accountant
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This position will be responsible for supporting our accounting functions across multiple entities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess experience with QuickBooks, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle various accounting tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable, managing aging reports and ensuring timely collections
- Reconcile accounts and ensure that discrepancies are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
- Perform daily accounting functions, including journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.
- Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis for multiple entities.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Assist with QuickBooks software, managing updates, resolving issues, and ensuring accurate data entry.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and timely reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (experience with other accounting software is a plus).
- Ability to handle multiple entities and manage a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
