Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic, driven, and client-focused Personal Injury Claims Negotiator with strong litigation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of personal injury experience and understands how litigation strategy directly impacts claim value and negotiation outcomes.
This role is perfect for someone who can confidently navigate complex claims, evaluate cases through a litigation lens, and work closely with attorneys to maximize results for injured clients. Experience supporting litigation, preparing cases for trial, or managing litigated files is strongly preferred.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a caseload of personal injury claims from intake through settlement or litigation transition
- Draft persuasive and comprehensive demand packages supported by strong liability and damages analysis
- Negotiate strategically and aggressively with insurance adjusters and defense counsel
- Evaluate claims with a deep understanding of litigation risk, trial exposure, and case value
- Collaborate closely with attorneys on litigation strategy, case development, and negotiation positioning
- Assist with litigation preparation, including discovery coordination, medical record analysis, and case organization
- Identify cases requiring escalation into active litigation and support seamless file transitions
- Analyze medical records, billing, wage loss, future damages, and liability issues to fully value claims
- Maintain consistent and compassionate communication with clients throughout the life of the case
- Support trial preparation and settlement strategy on complex or high-value matters
- Stay highly organized and accountable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Who You Are
- You have at least 3 years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience
- You have litigation experience or substantial exposure to litigated personal injury matters
- You understand how to leverage litigation strategy to drive stronger settlement outcomes
- You are confident negotiating with insurance carriers and advocating firmly for clients
- You can balance analytical thinking with empathy and emotional intelligence
- You communicate professionally, clearly, and proactively
- You thrive in a collaborative environment and take ownership of your work
- You are highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting litigation or trial preparation in personal injury cases
- Familiarity with Washington personal injury and civil litigation practice
- Experience with catastrophic injury, complex liability, or high-value claims
- Working knowledge of discovery, case deadlines, and litigation workflows
- A mindset focused on accountability, growth, and continuous improvement

Work Location: In-office during probationary period; hybrid or remote flexibility available afterward.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
