This position is located in our Carson City DMV Office within the Fiscal Operations Division (FOD). The FOD serves as a centralized division providing fiscal related services to all divisions within the Department of Motor Vehicles. This position is responsible for administration of contracts and contract management, interpreting statutes, working closely with the Attorney Generals’ Office staff, implementing policies and procedures related to contracts, and provide department training on contract processes to ensure division compliance. Incumbents function as managers who train, supervise and evaluate the performance of subordinate employees; develop policies and procedures specific to contracts and procurement; allocate staff and resources to accomplish goals and objectives. Under the authority of NRS 239B.010.1(b), the DMV utilizes NRS 205.4605 - 205.810, NRS 293.504, NRS 293.5045, 6 CFR 37.45, 49 CFR 1572.103, and 49 CFR 384.228 as criteria to obtain a FBI fingerprint clearance check on current and prospective employees.
