What You'll Do
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures while ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
- Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards.
- Accurately document treatment and update patient records.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to support efficient patient care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment recommendations, and post-operative care.
- Assist with patients of all ages while creating a welcoming and reassuring experience.
- Take dental radiographs and intraoral images as permitted by state regulations.
- Work closely with fellow team members to ensure smooth daily operations and an exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications
- Previous Dental Assistant experience required.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and anatomy.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus.
- Understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- A positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and commitment to teamwork.
