Akron General understands that keeping up with nutritional needs is essential to staying well. As a Nutrition Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting patients with their meal selections based on their approved dietary orders over the phone, within a call center environment . You will in take calls from patients for breakfast, lunch, and dinne r as well as verify and enter orders into our dietary menu system . M aintaining communication between care units and patients regarding nutrition and dietetics to ensure meal accuracy is extremely important in this role. Y our efforts can leave a positive impression on patients and their families every day.
A caregiver in this position works days from 10 :00AM – 6 :30PM , including every other weekend and holiday .
