Fujiyama Steakhouse of Japan is growing, and we're looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, and guest-focused Servers to join our team! As a Server, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality while creating memorable dining experiences for every guest. Our servers play a key role in ensuring each visit is welcoming, efficient, and enjoyable.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Guide guests through the menu and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials.
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
- Coordinate with hibachi chefs, sushi chefs, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Deliver food and beverages while maintaining presentation standards.
- Anticipate guest needs by refilling drinks, clearing plates, and checking in throughout the meal.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Reset and prepare tables for incoming guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining room.
- Assist teammates and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous serving or restaurant experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train motivated individuals.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
