Duties
- Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and repairing to ensure proper adhesion of epoxy coatings.
- Mix and apply epoxy resins, primers, sealers, and other building materials following manufacturer instructions and safety protocols.
- Use hand tools and power tools such as grinders, sanders and drills to install flooring components efficiently.
- Perform surface finishing tasks including buffing and polishing to achieve a smooth, professional finish.
- Follow safety compliance standards to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with carpenters, tile layers, and other tradespeople during remodeling or restoration projects to ensure seamless integration of flooring with other building elements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in flooring installation, construction estimating, or related building material installation roles.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and building installation safety compliance requirements.
- Skilled in manual handling of heavy materials and equipment while maintaining safety standards.
- Experience with resinous flooring, tile laying, caulking, or remodeling is a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively.
