Quality Manager (Temp) to join their team for 3 - 6+ months.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$55/hr - $70/hr
Position Overview:
The Quality Manager (Temp) oversees the Quality Management System and leads Quality Assurance and Quality Control operations. This role ensures compliance with FDA regulations, cGMP, ISO standards, and customer requirements while partnering with Operations, Manufacturing, and R&D to drive product quality and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities of the Quality Manager (Temp):
- Manage the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Oversee QA/QC activities, including incoming inspection, finished goods testing, and product release.
- Lead CAPA, customer complaint, deviation, and nonconformance investigations.
- Manage document control, change control, validation, and quality training.
- Support customer, supplier, and regulatory audits.
- Monitor quality metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and develop Quality team members.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, cGMP, ISO, and internal quality standards.
Required Experience/Skills for the Quality Manager (Temp):
- 6+ years of quality experience in cosmetics, personal care, OTC, pharmaceutical, or related manufacturing.
- The Quality Manager (Temp) should have 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP, ISO, CAPA, audits, and Quality Systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Quality Manager (Temp):
- Cosmetic or personal care contract manufacturing experience.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related Science is required.
