The Club at Glenmore is located within a private residential community about five miles east of Charlottesville on 250. We're currently seeking a Handyman with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. We are looking to a hire a motivated and energetic person to join our team. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintenance and repairs both inside and out
- Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of various equipment
- Cleaning and tidying
- Painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and landscaping
- Assisting outside tradespeople as needed
- Various other odd jobs as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as handyman
- Experience with hardware, tools, and electrical equipment
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Basic math skills
- Good communication ability
- Well-organized and comfortable with problem-solving
- Attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent.
This is a full-time position, ideally Monday through Friday with potentially some flexibility to work on the weekends--please let us know your preference/availability when applying.
