Family Health Source is seeking an organized, personable, and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys variety, takes pride in staying organized, and wants hands-on experience across multiple areas of Human Resources.
As part of our HR team, you will support the employee experience from recruitment and onboarding through benefits, leave administration, employee records, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, approachable, comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and understands the importance of confidentiality and follow-through.

Support recruitment activities, including job postings, applicant review, candidate screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication

Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, references, and required documentation

Prepare offer letters and coordinate the onboarding process for new team members

Assist with new hire orientation and ensure required employment documentation is completed accurately and timely

Maintain accurate employee information and documentation within the HRIS and personnel files

Process and track employee changes, including new hires, transfers, promotions, status changes, and separations

Assist employees with general questions regarding benefits, policies, HR processes, and available resources

Support benefits enrollment, qualifying life events, and annual open enrollment

Assist with the administration and tracking of FMLA, personal leave, and other employee leave requests

Maintain HR trackers, reports, personnel records, and compliance documentation

Assist with I-9 compliance, employee evaluations, required training, licenses, certifications, and other HR-related requirements

Support employee relations activities, documentation, and HR follow-up as needed

Assist with HR audits, special projects, reporting, and department initiatives

Maintain confidentiality of employee, applicant, medical, compensation, and organizational information at all times

Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources or closely related administrative experience preferred

Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered

Experience with recruitment, onboarding, benefits, leave administration, employee records, or HR compliance preferred

Working knowledge of employment laws and HR practices, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, and I-9 requirements, preferred

Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy

Professional, approachable, and comfortable interacting with team members at all levels of the organization

Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain strict confidentiality

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams

Experience with ADP Workforce Now or another HRIS/ATS platform is strongly preferred

Healthcare, FQHC, nonprofit, or other regulated-industry experience is a plus
-
SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification is a plus, but not required
