Every day you will assist with the planning and preparation of necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures, demonstrating your technical skill in their care and use. You'll contribute to circulating duties, assist with patient prepping, positioning, and draping, and complete accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts. Additionally, you will support room turnover, patient transport, and specimen handling, all while adhering to the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and patient confidentiality.
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will be a student in good standing, having completed at least the second quarter of an accredited Surgical Technology program. You must demonstrate a foundational knowledge of surgical procedures and display an eagerness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced surgical team. A current Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) certification is required, reflecting your commitment to patient safety and readiness for this critical direct care role.
