Position Overview
EDJ Service LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Lawn Maintenance Foreman / Driver tolead and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew. This is a hands-on, working foreman position requiring strong leadership, safe driving, and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality work on commercial, municipal, and residential properties. This is not a supervisory-only role.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise lawn maintenance crews in the field
- Drive company trucks and trailers safely to and from job sites
- Perform lawn maintenance duties including mowing, weed-eating, edging, blowing, hedge
trimming, and detail clean-up
- Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards
- Load, unload, and maintain landscaping equipment
- Train, support, and direct crew members as needed
- Communicate daily job progress with management
- Assist management with additional duties as directed
Requirements
- Minimum 3–4 years of commercial and/or municipal lawn maintenance experience
- Prior crew leader or foreman experience required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving a truck and trailer
- Ability to operate commercial landscaping equipment
- Strong leadership, reliability, and work ethic
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
- Comfortable working outdoors in South Florida weather conditions
- Must be able to pass a background check
Pay
$17.50 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience
