SUMMARY
Responsible for beer making process by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operates, cleans, and sterilizes all brewing equipment.
- Follows standard operating procedures specifically in the creation of wort to be delivered to the cellar.
- Inputs data as specified for all brewing procedures.
- Checks the quality of raw materials, wort throughout the process, and finished product daily; interacts with quality department.
- Checks and adjusts as necessary all brewing equipment.
- Coordinates with the Maintenance department regarding any required servicing of equipment.
- Keeps all raw materials stocked and organized.
- Maintains an exceptionally clean and sterile work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- HS Diploma or equivalency required.
- Experience in production brewing.
- Experience in sanitary food or beverage processing.
- Good candidates must fit in with our enthusiastic and hardworking team environment.
- Must be a great communicator.
- Must possess a mechanical aptitude
- Candidates should be serious about safety, quality and cleanliness.
- Candidates need to be able to lift up to 100 pounds, be able to twist and turn, be able to reach over your shoulders, and work in standing/walking/ crouching position at a steady pace and love to clean.
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends is necessary.
