American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring telemetry and IV skills on a busy medicine unit.

Work on a 38-bed Medicine unit within a hospital setting
-
Patient population includes cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, substance abuse, and medical diagnoses with underlying psychiatric disorders
-
RN to patient ratio is 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights and weekends

PCT to patient ratio is 1:10
-
Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
-
36 hours per week
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand
-
Telemetry experience on a Med/Surg unit required

IV skills required
-
Experience at a comparable facility bed size preferred

Provide care to medical patients with complex comorbidities including cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and psychiatric conditions

Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis and as needed
