In this armed role, you will respond to site needs with integrity, work closely with your team, and bring a reliable, people-first approach to every shift.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public spaces, verifying access permissions and supporting order during daily operations, special activities, and/or high-traffic periods.

Support law enforcement, first responders, and authorized personnel during emergencies, evacuations, and/or investigations while following post orders and established protocols.
Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card or license.

Possess a college degree.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
