Our new restaurant, located in the heart of West Ocean City, is set to open in March, and we are looking for a creative and hardworking Sous Chef or Chef to join our dynamic team.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef / Chef in a reputable restaurant.
- Familiarity with American cuisine and creative flair to reimagine dishes with a fusion twist.
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse kitchen staff.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and planning of menus, ensuring the variety and quality of the servings.
- Oversee the work of kitchen staff and provide guidance as needed.
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
