Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive primary care services for adult patients. The Physician will diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and coordinate care with specialists and an interdisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and supporting preventive health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
Perform physical examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
Prescribe medications and monitor patient outcomes.
Coordinate care with specialists, behavioral health providers, dentists, pharmacists, social workers, and case managers.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote preventive healthcare.
Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and ethical standards.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency.
Current, unrestricted Alabama medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with EHR systems and clinical documentation.
