Job Title: Cosmetologist

Job Summary:
A cosmetologist provides beauty services that include hair styling, cutting, and coloring. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping clients look and feel their best. Cosmetologists should have excellent communication and customer service skills and stay updated on the latest beauty trends and techniques. Booth Rent or commission available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their beauty goals and recommend appropriate services or products.
- Cut, style, color, and chemically treat hair using various techniques.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, complying with health and safety regulations.
- Stay up to date with trends in beauty and cosmetology through continuing education.
- Schedule appointments and manage client records, if required.
- Uphold a friendly, professional demeanor and build long-term relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
- Valid state cosmetology license.
- Proven experience in a salon or spa is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of beauty products and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment with frequent client interaction.
