Key Responsibilities
We’re looking for a driven Business Development professional to grow our Upstream Customer portfolio. You’ll own the full sales cycle — from identifying opportunities to closing deals — and serve as the face of Quantum to enterprise and institutional clients. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment and wants to shape the commercial growth of a purpose-driven company.
Business Development & Pipeline Management

- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation, close, and internal handoff.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while achieving revenue and growth objectives.
- Prepare customized proposals, presentations, and RFP responses.
Strategic Planning & Market Intelligence
- Research industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to identify new growth opportunities.
- Develop and recommend sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Effectively communicate Quantum's value proposition and competitive advantages.
Client Relationship Management
- Build trusted, long-term client relationships through a consultative sales approach.
- Gather and communicate client requirements to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Participate in sales meetings and provide updates on pipeline activity, opportunities, wins, and challenges.
- Maintain accurate records and activity tracking within the CRM system.
- Support company go-to-market initiatives and new service offerings.
Qualifications
We are hiring across multiple levels and welcome candidates with varying levels of experience:
- Entry-Level: 1–2 years of B2B sales, customer service, or business development experience.
- Intermediate: 3–5 years of account management or business development experience.
- Senior: 5+ years of enterprise sales, account management, technology services, ITAD, or related industry experience.

- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Administration, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Experience using CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is an asset).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Knowledge of IT hardware, technology solutions, or IT asset management is considered an asset.

- Primarily computer-based work requiring sustained concentration and communication.
- Occasional travel for client meetings, conferences, industry events, and visits to Quantum facilities.
