Overview: The Clinical Dietitian, RD for the Diabetes Program is responsible for educating and monitoring the Medical Nutrition Therapy for referred patients. Provides nutrition counseling to these clients and their significant others. Coordinates the clinical teaching/learning aspect of the Diabetes Management Program. Participates in the marketing of the Diabetes Management Program to clients, physicians, and organizations; providing liaison/education with and to the hospital Food/Nutrition Services, Nursing, and Medical Staff.
