Duties
- Greet patients warmly and verify their appointment details to ensure accurate scheduling.
- Manage patient records with precision, updating information and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and follow-up visits to optimize provider availability.
- Assist patients with insurance verification, billing inquiries, and necessary paperwork to streamline administrative processes.
- Communicate clearly with healthcare providers regarding patient needs, appointment changes, or special instructions.
- Support medical staff by preparing exam rooms, handling patient intake forms, and ensuring all documentation is complete.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front office environment to promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a medical or dental office setting, demonstrating familiarity with clinical workflows.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret and communicate healthcare information.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling software, insurance processing, and record management.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
