Patient Support Specialist – Clinical Support (Floating Role)
Location: Two clinical facilities (Burlington area), none remote
Schedule: Full-time - 12 Week Contract
Pay: $22 p/hr
We’re seeking a reliable, organized person to support daily operations across two clinical facilities. This role requires strong communication skills, comfort with multitasking, and the ability to adapt quickly in a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate provider availability
- Process referrals accurately and ensure timely follow‑through
- Scan, upload, and organize patient documentation within the electronic system
- Maintain clear communication with the Administrative Assistant Supervisor and report any questions, issues, or follow‑up needs
- Float between two clinical locations as needed to support front‑office operations
What We’re Looking For
- Strong administrative or front‑desk experience, ideally in a healthcare setting
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer‑service skills
- Ability to manage scheduling and documentation with accuracy
- Comfort working independently and shifting between facilities
- Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft programs
