Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
- Oversee food safety compliance by implementing proper handling procedures and maintaining sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
- Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills, customer service, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate shift schedules, monitor labor costs, and ensure smooth daily operations within budget parameters.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality management by ensuring timely service delivery and addressing customer feedback promptly.
- Collaborate with management to implement menu changes, promotional events, and catering services to boost revenue streams.
Experience
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with a strong background in team management and staff training & development.
- Extensive knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and food handling best practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Prior experience managing inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
- Experience working in fine dining or casual dining establishments with banquet or catering experience is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment focused on excellence in food service management.
