Wheat LLC is seeking an experienced Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience working with commercial truck tires and fleet maintenance programs.
Perform monthly tread depth and PSI inspections and complete detailed reports
Rotate commercial tires according to maintenance schedules
Patch and buff commercial tires
Inspect for and correct mismatched tire sizes or improper installations
Communicate supply needs and maintenance concerns to the manager in a timely manner
Drug test and Background test
Proven experience working with commercial truck tires
Knowledge of proper tire repair, patching, and buffing techniques
Ability to complete accurate inspection and maintenance reports
Strong attention to detail and safety standards
Ability to lift heavy tires and work in a physically demanding environment
Relevant tire industry certifications required (e.g., TIA certification or equivalent preferred)
