We are seeking a nurturing, dependable, and patient Infant Teacher to provide a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 months. The ideal candidate will support early development, build strong relationships with families, and maintain a clean and engaging classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, responsive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, and soothing
- Create and implement age-appropriate activities that support developmental milestones
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies
- Closely supervise infants at all times to ensure safety
- Communicate daily with parents regarding their child’s routine, progress, and needs
- Track feeding schedules, naps, and developmental observations
- Promote a warm, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or Early Childhood Education preferred)
- Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of infant development and safe sleep practices
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and be active throughout the day
