BEPC Inc. is seeking a meticulous Tissue Specialist to join our client's advanced medical device manufacturing team. This role is ideal for individuals with exceptional hand dexterity, precision sewing skills, and experience performing detailed work under a microscope. You will play a critical role in manufacturing life-changing structural heart devices within a highly controlled cleanroom environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble structural heart valve devices according to approved manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
- Perform precision sewing using suture and needle under a microscope.
- Utilize microscopes, small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measuring devices, and specialized test fixtures during assembly.
- Inspect and verify materials to ensure they meet design specifications and quality requirements.
- Support manufacturing activities related to product design, testing, verification, and validation for new and existing medical devices.
- Follow all quality system procedures, manufacturing documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain compliance with cleanroom standards and contamination control procedures.
- Collaborate with production teams to achieve manufacturing goals while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform highly precise, repetitive work.
- Strong fine motor skills and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Experience sewing with suture and needle or performing similar precision assembly work.
- Comfortable working under a microscope for extended periods.
- Experience using precision hand tools, measuring equipment, and small instruments.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous cleanroom manufacturing experience.
- Experience assembling medical devices or other precision products.
- Familiarity with quality-controlled manufacturing environments.
