Job description
General Responsibilities:
- Effectively source, screen and track candidates for positions and manage the offer process.
- Source candidates using data base, trade schools, colleges and other sites.
- Create and place advertisements using local and national resources, including internet sourcing, networking, cold calling, and various media as well as focusing on and development of new areas.
- Work closely with Effex On-sites and clients to understand what they are seeking in candidates, what the job responsibilities are and the timeliness and expectations of deliverables.
- Conduct formalized and structured telephone and screenings as well as formal interviews.
- Screen and check references of candidates.
- Test candidates for specific skills.
- Perform new hire orientations.
- Extend job offers and coach candidates through hiring process.
- Responsible for new hire paperwork completion.
- Coordinate training between client and candidate.
- Find replacement when employee fails to show for assignment.
- Maintain organized and complete files for placement of candidates.
- Work and communicate with client services and human resources.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Education/Experience:
- Bilingual in Spanish is required
- Prior recruiting, customer service experiences an asset.
- High School diploma
- Office experience
- Strong phone and customer service skills.
- Interviewing and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills including excellent communication and negotiating skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong PC skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet. Ability to learn new computer systems quickly.
- Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
- Ability to multi task and handle time-sensitive issues
- Proactive, organized and punctual.
Special Considerations:
- Flexible work schedule when needed.
- Travel as needed in the local market
- Able to work in and out of an office environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
