We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused professional who can operate a variety of commercial vehicles while supporting efficient waste collection and transportation services throughout the local area.
In this position, you will be responsible for safely operating front-loaders, rear-loaders, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and flatbed trucks while ensuring compliance with all company policies, DOT regulations, and safety standards. Your commercial driving skills, attention to detail, and mechanical knowledge will help keep our daily operations running smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including garbage trucks, front loaders, rear loaders, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to collect and transport waste materials.
- Load and unload waste materials efficiently using front-end loaders and other equipment as required.
- Follow all DOT regulations, state transportation requirements, and company safety procedures, including air brake regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure safe operation.
- Follow assigned waste collection routes while maintaining schedules and practicing safe defensive driving techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of daily routes, waste collections, and vehicle inspections or maintenance reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate daily operations across multiple locations.
- Assist with physical tasks, including heavy lifting when needed, and safely operate manual transmission vehicles.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and identify potential equipment issues.
- Experience operating heavy equipment, including front-end loaders, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
- Ability to safely load and unload materials using proper equipment; experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Excellent defensive driving skills with a clean driving record and knowledge of DOT and state transportation regulations.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and repetitive work throughout the day.

Pay: $3,200.00 - $3,500.00 per month
