7. Maintain a secured campus while monitoring entries, supervising the student parking and outside areas of the
building, including arrival and dismissal
8. While monitoring the front entrance after doors are locked, check identification of all visitors and determine
whether their entrance to the building is appropriate
9. Work collaboratively with local law enforcement at the direction of the principal
10. Provide parking lot and bus loop supervision at various times of the day
11. Notify the administration of any facility, custodial or safety concerns observed
12. Maintain regular and consistent employee attendance
13. Other duties, as assigned by the building principal or Director of Operations
14. Work independently with little or no supervision
15. Demonstrates regular and predictable in-person attendance
16. Performs other duties as assigned by the administration

PHYSICAL CONDITIONS AND NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS
Duties performed typically in school settings include: classrooms, gymnasium, cafeteria, auditorium, and
playground areas. Frequent walking, standing, sitting, stooping, and lifting may be required. Other limited physical
activities may be required. Occasional vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by
means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; visual acuity
is required for observing general surroundings and activities; the worker is subject to inside and outside
environmental conditions, noise, and hazards. Daily personal close contact with students to provide behavior
management in the learning environment is required. Regular contact with staff members and administrators
is required. Contact with parents and medical professionals may be required. Requires frequent supervision
outside during all types of seasonal weather and temperatures.
This position reports to the Northville High School Principal and Director of Operations.
