Position Summary
SEHWI seeks qualified and motivated faculty members to provide didactic, laboratory, and clinical instruction within the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. Faculty are responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, supporting student success, and maintaining professional standards consistent with ARDMS and accreditation expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical instruction
- Develop and maintain course syllabi and instructional materials
- Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records
- Participate in curriculum development and assessment
- Maintain professional credentials and continuing education
- Assist with accreditation and institutional reporting activities
- Provide student advising and mentoring
- Participate in faculty meetings and institutional committees
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required
- Current ARDMS credential(s) in specialty area
- Minimum 3 years documented clinical experience in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Current CPR Certification
- Demonstrated competency in instructional delivery, assessment and student engagement
- Strong communication and instructional skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching or clinical instruction experience
- Additional specialty certifications
- Experience using learning management systems and educational technology
Pay: $40.00 per hour
