Nanny/Household Manager – Evanston, IL Reference W-5027
Compensation: $30–$35 Per Hour
Start Date: Immediate
Schedule: Monday–Friday 1:00 PM–7:00 PM (30 Hours Per Week)

Job Details
We are seeking on behalf of our client located in Evanston, an experienced Nanny/Household Manager to provide after-school support for two children, ages 8 and 11, while assisting with the organization and day-to-day management of the household.
Responsibilities
- School pick-ups and transportation to activities and sports
- Provide attentive after-school care and supervision
- Assist with homework and school-related needs
- Support children’s activities and sports schedules
- Keep school bags, sports bags, and children’s belongings organized
- Family laundry and linens
- Prepare family meals and assist with meal planning
- Run household and child-related errands
- Light housekeeping and household organization
- Coordinate household vendors, deliveries, and service appointments, including scheduling, access, communication, and follow-up.
- Communicate with parents regarding children’s schedules, needs, and activities
- Help maintain an organized, smoothly running household
- Maintain a flexible schedule to provide additional support during school breaks and summer as needed, with advance notice.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional nanny or household management experience
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- Strong laundry and garment-care skills (preferred)
- Experience caring for school-aged children
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
- Excellent driving record
- Highly organized, proactive, and dependable
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Comfortable balancing childcare with household responsibilities
- Professional, discreet, and service-oriented
