Position Summary:
The Analyst I position supports all efforts for data collection, cleaning, and integrity. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. Make observations of operational inefficiencies and analyze options for enhancements. Report and present findings to multiple layers of management.

In this Role:

Responsible for always practicing, supporting, and promoting Gun Lake Casino Resort’s Four Diamond Standards.

Responsible for collecting data needed for reports, formatting and preparing that data, and ensuring its accuracy.

Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze information from various sources.

Maintain accurate and organized documentation of analysis procedures and findings.
-
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

Support the development and implementation of strategies to improve business processes.

Perform ad-hoc analysis and research as required to support decision-making.

Participate in meetings and discussions to provide analytical input and recommendations.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business analysis.

Participate and manage annual and quarterly budgets

Database maintenance for onboarding

Perform other job-related duties as requested
Essential Qualifications:
-
Must be 21+ years of age
-
Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
-
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.

Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Prior internship or work experience in a related field is a plus, but not required.

Must be able to access all areas of the casino as part of the requirements to perform duties as listed above.

Must hold or be able to obtain a Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Commission license.
Physical Requirements:

Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.

Ability to read, write and input data into the computer.

Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend and carry for the duration of the shift.

Manual dexterity to perform job related functions. Pushing and pulling needed with carts.
Work Conditions:
Work is typically in an office environment; however, additional work areas may be unusually hot, cold, and/or noisy and may contain second-hand smoke. Tasks may be required to be performed from a sitting or non-sitting position in a confined area. Team Members may be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull, and grasp.
