Job Brief: Counter Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service when working with homeowners, trade members, contractors, architects, designers (and their clients) in choosing from a wide variety of fashion or rough plumbing products. Directly reports to Branch Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing exceptional customer service through all phases of the selling process to our customers and their representatives (designers, contractors, etc.) ensuring correct product is ordered, received, and delivered within agreed upon timeframes.
- Work independently while still being a part of a team and multitask throughout the day while prioritizing projects as needed.
- Maintain accurate and organized files.
- Develop long-term relationships with trade customers and vendors.
- At times, required to help down stock warehouse and / or help receive and stock transfers when delivered to branch to ensure fill in stock selling position.
Minimum 1 year in similar sales position preferred.
Minimum 1 year in progressive sales or design position featuring plumbing or home products preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing, walking, and sitting at a desk while working on a computer.
- Willingness to work in an ambient warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.
- Minimally must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
