Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a love for creating delicious baked goods. This role involves preparing a variety of baked items, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. If you have a flair for creativity in baking and enjoy working in a fast-paced food industry, we would love to hear from you.
Requirements
Position is part-time with the opportunity to pick up additional hours.
Shifts are Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays with occasional Fridays and Sundays.
Must be available to start work at 4 AM.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed meticulously during food preparation and handling.
- Decorate cupcakes with artistic flair to meet customer specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
- Proficient in culinary techniques related to baking, including pastry preparation and cake decorating.
- Experience in food handling and production within a kitchen environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of baking.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within a busy kitchen setting.
