Anchor Family Services is looking for an energetic, engaging, and compassionate Foster Parent Trainer & Case Manager to join our growing team!
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys leading trainings, speaking in front of groups, mentoring families, and making a lasting impact in the lives of children. While this position also includes a smaller foster care caseload, the primary focus is training and supporting foster and adoptive families throughout their journey.
No two days are the same! One weekend you may be leading an interactive foster parent training, and the next week you may be celebrating a child's success with one of your families. What You'll DoBe the Face of Training
- Lead engaging pre-service and ongoing trainings for foster and adoptive families.
- Create an interactive learning environment where families feel supported and prepared.
- Develop and update training materials and curriculum.
- Coach and encourage families throughout the licensing process.
- Help families build confidence in caring for children from hard places.
Support Children & Families
- Maintain a smaller caseload than a traditional case manager.
- Visit children in foster homes and provide ongoing support to caregivers.
- Coordinate with DFPS, schools, therapists, medical providers, and community partners.
- Complete service plans, documentation, and required licensing paperwork.
- Advocate for the safety, well-being, and success of every child.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related Human Services field.
- Experience in foster care, adoption, child welfare, social services, or related work preferred.
- Public speaking, training, or teaching experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass all required background checks.
Schedule
This position is primarily Monday through Friday with flexibility; however, weekend availability is required.
Training classes are generally held at least two weekends each month, although schedules may vary based on agency needs. Some evening training sessions or meetings may also be required.

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
