We are actively seeking a dedicated Staffing Specialist to join our dynamic human resources team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding talented candidates to meet the staffing needs of our organization. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Sourcing:
- Recruit qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified applicants
- Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews
- Match candidate skills and experience with client job requirements
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for open positions
Candidate Management:
- Guide candidates through the application and onboarding process
- Ensure all onboarding documents are completed accurately
- Verify employment eligibility and required documentation
- Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Address employee questions regarding assignments, schedules, and pay
Client Support:
- Work closely with Account Managers to understand client staffing needs
- Coordinate candidate placements and start dates
- Monitor employee attendance and performance feedback from clients
- Assist with resolving employee or client concerns
Administrative Duties:
- Enter candidate information into the ATS / staffing system (TempWorks or similar)
- Maintain accurate employee files and documentation
- Track job orders, candidate submissions, and placements
- Assist with scheduling interviews and orientations
Compliance:
- Ensure all hiring practices comply with labor laws and company policies
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information
- Follow all onboarding and background screening procedures
Qualifications Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field preferred
Experience:
- 1–2 years of recruiting, staffing, HR, or customer service experience preferred
- Experience in a staffing agency environment is a plus
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

- Strong problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, ATS systems)
Preferred Skills:
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
- Sales or customer service background
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
