Saint Columbkille Partnership School, located in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, educates students aged 2.9 years through Grade 8. Founded in 1901 by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston, the school has educated generations of local families. Saint Columbkille Partnership School was re-established in 2006 and enjoys a unique partnership with Boston College, as the Laboratory School affiliated with its Lynch School of Education and Human Development, and with the Archdiocese of Boston and Saint Columbkille Parish.

Saint Columbkille Partnership School is currently seeking a full-time middle school Spanish and religion teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Plan and implement engaging and effective lessons.
- For religion, ensure lesson alignment with curriculum sponsored by the Archdiocese of Boston Catholic Schools Office and the USCCB.
- Use formative and summative assessments, including NWEA MAP, to determine students’ mastery of objectives.
- Understand and support the unique strengths and needs of each student.
- Use the FACTS student information system for attendance, grading, and communication.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress.
- Collaborate with the middle school team, academic coaches, student support team, and school leadership.
- Advance the mission of the school through active participation in a faculty committee.
- Support the faith formation of students and accompany them in faith formation experiences.
- Create a safe and joyful learning environment.
- Contribute to the school’s positive, welcoming culture.
The requirements for this position include:
- Commitment to the school’s Catholic mission and identity.
- Knowledge of Catholicism, Catholic theology, and Catholic social teaching.
- Ability to use instructional technology.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience as a Catholic religion teacher.
- Experience as a Spanish teacher.
- Fluency in the Spanish language.
The compensation range for this role is $44,000-$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity.
Pay: $44,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
