We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Participate in catering events as required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry
- Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation, cooking, and knife skills
- Experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus
- Familiarity with meal preparation, catering, and serving techniques is advantageous
