Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items including drinks, desserts, and specials to enhance guest enjoyment and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including handling cash handling procedures and sales transaction processing
- Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations
- Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for maximum efficiency
Experience
- Previous food service experience in Asian cuisine or fine dining environments is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and beverage pairing techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures
- Prior experience in restaurant roles such as host/hostess or cashier is advantageous but not required
