At RAM Restoration, we assist homeowners and businesses during times of need after a disaster occurs. We look to mitigate damage from spreading or becoming larger, while restoring the customer’s home or business back to its pre-loss condition. We look to take on the burden of the clean-up process from our customers after water, fire, mold, or storm damage has occurred. We are looking for a Mitigation Technician to join our team; A dedicated and reliable worker that can perform the job duties of the Mitigation Technician Role pertaining to water, fire, mold, and storm damage.
What We Are Looking For
· Has experience in water and/or fire mitigation, preferred, but not required.
· IICRC Water/Fire Certified preferred
· Has a positive attitude and can take pride in the work being performed.
· Reports to work on time and follows on-call schedule guidelines.
· Professionalism that can follow dress code and maintain good personal hygiene.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Scope and inspect various mitigation and emergency service calls relating to water, fire, mold, smoke, and storm damage.
· Prepare and review documentation to include notes, photos, and documents according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies.
· Ensures all equipment needed for job is on truck prior to traveling to job site.
· Interacts with residential and commercial customers and ensures proper communication is established for jobs.
· Communicates with team members, managers, customers, or insurance representatives clearly and professionally.
· Ensure clean-up of job site is done properly with nothing being overlooked once job is complete.
· While performing job duties, employee must have the ability to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds and have the ability to perform job duties while standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and climbing.
· Perform duties such as demolition, extraction, cleaning, content manipulation – Duties such as, but not limited to, carpet lifting, drywall removal, carpet pad removal, cleaning & disinfecting contaminated areas.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· High School Graduate or Equivalent
· Must have knowledge for use of smartphone/email technology.
· IICRC Certifications in Water And/Or Fire preferred, but not required.
· Must have valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
· Basic Math Skills
· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally over 100 pounds with assistance.
· Ability to successfully complete a background check.
· Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals.
· Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
Schedule:
· 8-hour shifts
· Monday-Friday
· Overtime, as needed
· On-Call – Overnight, Weekends, Holidays

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
