Duties
- Efficiently pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accuracy.
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments, inspecting goods for quality control, and updating inventory records.
- Stock shelves accurately by replenishing supplies and organizing products for easy retrieval during order fulfillment.
- Assist with packaging orders securely to prevent damage during transit while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by loading trucks and preparing shipments for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while complying with safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, shipping & receiving, and stock management.
- Valid certification or experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for accurate inventory tracking.
- Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards.
- Prior experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus but not required.
